April, 2015 Article The Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection) Bill 2014 (India): A Critical Analysis. Arvind Kurian Abraham and Arpita Sengupta

"In a rehabilitative system of criminal justice, as is followed in India, the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act 2000 defines juveniles as any person below the age of 18 years. However, the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection) Bill, 2014 envisages to treat juveniles of the age of 16 years and above, accused of heinous offences, as adults in a criminal court. The paper will critically analyse the changes sought in the bill and explore as to whether the reduction in the age of criminal responsibility is the correct way forward in the aim to attain justice."

January, 2015 Book review Book review of Kelly, V.C. and Thorsborne, M. (2014), The Psychology of Emotion in Restorative Practice. Theo Gavrielides

"This is by far one of the most interesting books I have read on restorative justice recently. I recommend it to anyone with an open mind to the many possibilities that restorative justice can bring both in relation to how we resolve criminal conflicts, but also conflicts within ourselves, between our friends and families … between our mind and soul." (Gavrielides, 2015)

"The book is not easy reading due to the extremely academic writing style but is worth the effort. The admirable editorial work has contributed to reach a homogeneous product. Setting  a positive and constructive agenda  for  the next decade, this  book is  a  real  gem  in  restorative justice  literature"

August, 2014 Book review Book review of Clamp, K. (2014). Restorative Justice in Transition. Theo Gavrielides

"This book promises to serve as “a contribution to broadening the object of criminology by shifting attentions from common crimes to political crimes, and deepening our theoretical understanding of the use of restorative justice within the context of transitional states” (p. 7). ...Therefore, I was excited to read that a book dealing specifically with issues of global power structures, states in transition and the implementation of restorative justice within these parameters was available at last." (Gavrielides, 2014)
