Hertfordshire Adult Restorative Justice strategy launch Conference

The Police and Crime Commissioner and University of Hertfordshire are organising the "Hertfordshire Restorative Justice Strategy Launch Conference" to be held at the Fielder Centre, Hatfield, Hertfordshire on 23rd March 2015. The conference will be open to the public, free of charge. RJ4All Co-Director Dr Theo Gavrielides, will be participating in the event, delivering a presentation on the Victims' Directive, entitled "Are we ready for the EU Victims Directive?".

The conference will be focusing on:

"Restorative Justice is becoming an increasingly hot topic both locally and nationally and the conference will seek to resolve some emerging issues, not least, exactly what is RJ, how can it be accessed and who should deliver it? Above all, the conference will introduce the Hertfordshire approach to adult RJ and the delivery framework. We shall also reveal plans for a shared RJ Centre of excellence. During the course of the day a tour of the University of Hertfordshire School of Law Court Building and Hertfordshire Mediation Service will also be available.
The conference is a key event to start the process of delivering adult Restorative Justice within our communities and we do very much hope you can join us for a lively, informative and stimulating event.
