International Restorative Justice Week 2020

Every year, the RJ4All International Institute celebrates International Restorative Justice Week #RJWeek. Our goal is to raise awareness about the importance of restorative justice practices, and the restorative justice ethos.

 From the 15th of November until the 22nd of November 2020, our staff, interns and volunteers will post free resources and inspiring quotes that we hope can help increase awareness of restorative justice.

As an ethos, Restorative Justice can be applied in a broad range of contexts, including hate crime, domestic violence, or even to improve people's mental health.

BUILDING YOUTH RESILIENCE

This accredited e-course aims to train young people aged between 12 to 18 about the importance of controling their emotions, building resilience and becoming positive role models.

PREVENTING VIOLENT YOUTH RADICALISATION CPD E-COURSE

This CPD accredited e-course aims to train and support youth workers and other professionals working or volunteering in formal or informal educational settings. It aims to help them in their work on building the knowledge, skills, capacity and resilience of young people with the ultimate objective of preventing violent youth radicalisation and group violence.

Resolving conflicts and addressing group violence

This e-course will introduce you to the restorative justice theory and practice. You will increase your skills and knowledge on what is violent youth radicalisation and group violence such as gangs while explaining causes, risks, how to get away from it and who to contact. Finally, you will also learn how to become a peer mediator. All in all, this e-course will help you to prevent youth violent radicalisation and group violence.

Young Peer Mediators

In this e-course you are going to learn about violence and conflict and how to become a peer mediator. You will also learn how to deal with difficult situations, such as bullying, rumours, arguing with friends, and more.
